Instructions for Completing Your Order

Instructions always look scary - there's so much to read! Completing an order is not complicated. These instructions are our attempt at answering all the questions that could be raised about completing an order. Skim for what you need. Let us know if you don't find the answers you seek.

If you have an Account sign-in now to activate the features that come with being a registered user.

Step 1.1: Making Changes in the Shopping Cart

  • Change the quantity:

    • Highlight the current number in the Quantity Box (underneath the column header 'Qty') and replace it with the new amount.

    • Click on the 'update' link at the end of the product line.

    • A zero in the quantity box will remove the product.

  • Remove an item:

    • Click on the 'remove' link at the end of the product line.

  • Empty the whole cart:

    • If you want to start over, click on the 'Empty cart' link below the list. (The link is to the right of the "Continue Shopping" button.)

Step 1.2: Shipping and Handling

  • In order to proceed you must first choose a shipping method:

    1. Select the country. (We only ship within the US and Canada.)

    2. Enter the zip/postal code where the package will be delivered.

      • 5 numbers for the zip code (no 'plus four')

      • 6 letters and numbers for a Canadian Postal code

    3. Click on the "Calculate Shipping Costs" button. (There may be a pause while the pricing is collected from UPS and the USPS.)

    4. Select a method from the resulting shipping choices by clicking on the radio button to the left of the description. (Delivery time always refers to business days.) This is your opportunity to select faster shipping. Important information will appear in the yellow bar below the shipping choices.

    5. When you have selected the shipping method, the cost of Shipping and Handling will be added to your cart.

  • Standard Shipping:

    • The standard shipping rate is called Ground and is based upon the total amount of the order. In order to keep overall shipping costs down, we may ship Ground by UPS or by the US Postal Service.

    • Items that are 'In Stock' ship from our warehouse in Connecticut. Depending on your location, delivery will be between 2 to 10 business days.

    • We ship Monday through Friday and are able to ship most orders we receive by 2 pm EST on the same day.

  • Faster Shipping:

    • Faster (or expedited) shipping is ONLY available for 'In Stock' items.

    • Expedited shipping does not include the day your order ships.

    • UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

    • If, for example, you ordered something to be shipped by UPS 2 Day Air on Thursday at 3 pm EST, it would ship on Friday and delivery would be scheduled for the following Tuesday.

    • The anticipated delivery date for each method is indicated in the yellow bar below the shipping choices. Please Note: We can promise when an order will ship, but we cannot guarantee a delivery time. Once a package leaves our warehouse, it is no longer under our control.

  • Shipping Exceptions:

    • What address to use?

      • If you are shipping to a rural address, please include both the PO Box and a street address to assure delivery. In order to keep overall shipping costs down, we may ship Ground by UPS or by the US Postal Service.

    • Items shipped directly from the manufacturer:

      • Most of these items cannot be expedited. These products will have an availability message (on the product page and in the shopping cart) with an estimated delivery time. If one of your items is shipped from the manufacturer, your entire order will be shipping by Ground.

      • These items cannot be shipped outside of the continental US (to Canada, AK, HI, PR or APO addresses). If you provide one of these as your delivery address, these products will be removed from your cart.

Taxes and fees

  • Is there Tax on my order?

    • Dynamic Living is located in Connecticut. We only charge tax for orders shipping to Connecticut.

    • Tax on the items and shipping/handling will automatically be added into the cart.

  • Canadian customers

What happens next?

  • You can select to Continue Shopping or Proceed to Checkout

  • If you Proceed to Checkout

    • you will first be asked for the rest of the Shipping Information (Step 2)

    • then the Billing Information (Step 3).

    • Once those two steps are completed you will be asked to Review Your Order for mistakes. (Step 4) Your order is not complete until you after you click the "Confirm Order" button.

    • Step 5 (the final step) provides you with your order confirmation number and can be printed and used as a receipt. A matching e-mail will be sent to the address provided with your billing information.

Payment Options include:

  • Credit Cards:

    • Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, American Express

    • We follow all credit card best practices.

      • Our server is secure and is tested regularly for any vulnerabilities.

      • Your credit card number is encrypted the moment you move to the next page.

  • Mail a Check:

    • We accept personal checks or money orders that are drawn on a US bank.

    • Send your payment to:

    • Your order will not be shipped until we receive your payment.

  • Call with Credit Card:

    • This option allows you to complete your order online without entering any credit card information. Once you have your confirmation number, you can call (888) 940-0605 to provide your credit card to a Customer Service Representative.

    • Your order will not be shipped until we receive your payment.

Receipt for Your Order

  • After you have reviewed the completed order, there is one more step! When you have clicked the 'Confirm' button, you will end up on a page with an order confirmation number.

  • As part of that final step, an email confirmation was sent to the email address you provided to us during the ordering process. All of your order information is there.

  • In the upper right corner of the Final Page is a link that says 'Print Receipt'. You can also print that document if you like.

  • If you have registered for an Account, you can also print a receipt for any of the orders you placed with us since you registered.

Order Tracking

  • After an order is shipped, the order will have a shipper and a UPS tracking or USPS delivery confirmation number associated with it. This information will be sent to the email address you provided to us during the ordering process.
