The large display radio controlled Atomic Clock is easy to see and easy to set up. Place 1 "AA" battery (not included) in the clock, set to your time zone and the clock will do the rest. It's that simple!
How do these clocks automatically set themselves to the correct time? Atomic Clocks are radio controlled. They receive radio waves from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Colorado. Atomic Clocks are accurate within nanoseconds!
The Atomic Clock measures 8¾" W x 9 ½" H x ¾" D. The time display measures an incredible 2" high while the seconds and the date stand at 1" high.
Either mount the Atomic Clock on the wall or use the fold out stand to place it on a table or desk.
| Special Notes | The Atomic feature will only work within the United States. When setting the radio controlled Atomic Alarm Clock, it is best to do it at night and let the clock automatically receive the signal at midnight. (There tends to be less atmospheric disturbances and better reception at this time.) |

"My Mother is 84, has poor vision, and has lost some of her short-term memory. She keeps asking over and over again what day of the week it is. The Ken-Tech clock is "just what the doctor ordered." I guess I got the idea because I have a large LCD clock on my desk. Although, it would work, it has a busy display because it includes the temperature and humidity, and the day of the week is abbreviated with two letters instead of three. The Ken-Tech clock does not have these pieces of data. The month and the day of the week are larger, a plus, and the day of the week is abbreviated with three letters. "I bought this clock for my 80-year-old mother who has been having difficulty orienting herself to time and date and was beginning to get depressed because she couldn't even figure it out looking at her calendar. I tried 3 other clocks before this one but each were too difficult for her to setup and she had difficulty seeing their displays. She loves this clock! She was giddy with delight that all she did was put in one AA battery and it immediately set itself to the proper time day and date.
