Confused about whether you've already
taken your medication or vitamins?
| Did I take those morning pills? Double dosing on medication is a problem for people with memory issues or a complicated medication routine. This lockable medication dispenser will prevent medication errors like overdosing. It also serves as a reminder. | ![]() |
Store up to four weeks worth of medication, set up to 4 daily alarms, and let this automated pill reminder and organizer do the rest.
The pill tray has 28 compartments that can be filled with medication. Each compartment is 1" x 0.5" x 0.75" and can hold pills of varying combinations of sizes, such as:
3 large tablets, 2 large capsules and 2 small tablets
or 8 large capsules
or 12 medium tablets
(See the "Specifications" tab for information on replacement parts.)
How the MedReady medication dispenser works:
As the alarm goes off, the tray advances one compartment, allowing you access to the medication in that compartment. If you use one daily alarm, the tray is good for 28 days of medication dispensing,
or two daily alarms and the tray can hold two weeks worth of medication.
or three daily alarms and the tray can hold 9 days of medications.
or four daily alarms and the tray can hold one week's worth of medication.
If you miss a medication time, the tray will advance at the next scheduled alarm. This will prevent double dosing and medication errors.
The pill dispenser alarms set easily, just like an alarm clock. The only way to turn the alarm off is to open the door to the medication compartment. The standard alarm rings continuously until the door is opened, but this alarm can be limited to 30, 45, 60 or 250 minutes.
MedReady is tamper-resistant. Instead of employing a latch, the system utilizes a real lock and key, and the edges are secure. This deters "fiddling" with the medications by people with Alzheimer's or other memory issues.
Take the confusion out of medication routines and prevent prescription medicine dispensing errors. Let the MedReady work for you!
The MedReady is available with a red indicator light that flashes when the alarm goes off.

The MedReady with Flashing Light (DL6217) is helpful to anyone who is hearing impaired as well as Alzheimer's patients who respond to visual cues instead of audio ones.
The Basic MedReady and the MedReady with Light can also come with a lower frequency alarm. That means that the alarm sound has a lower pitch which is easier to hear for someone who has trouble hearing higher pitched sounds, like children's voices. In this situation, although the tone is not louder, the lower frequency is almost like turning up the volume.
Basic MedReady with Lower Frequency: DL6214LF
MedReady with Light and Lower Frequency: DL6217LF

| Batteries/Electric | AC Power. In the event of a power outage, or short-term travel, it switches automatically to battery backup. When fully charged the batteries will last up to 72 hours. Rechargeable batteries included. |
| Medical Restrictions | While the MedReady prevents double dosing with proper use, it is possible for medications to be taken too close together. For example, if the alarm times are 2 pm and 5 pm, the medications from 2 pm are available until the carousel tray turns again at 5 pm. So the pills could be taken at 4:30 pm and then again at 5 pm. |

"I'm a registered nurse who works with individuals who are developmental disabled. Some of my clients live independently and only need a small amount of assistance. The area that they most need assistance in is remembering to take their meds. The medication dispenser has helped my clients be able to remain living independently. The alarm is loud enough so that they have to take their meds on time to turn it off. It is a great product and very easy to use. Thank You." C.V., Joliet, IL
"This product has been a godsend! Keeping my mother-in-law from over- or under-medicating herself has made the difference for her in being able to remain in her independent living situation. The alarm is the right loudness to remind without startling. The locking feature prevents overmedication. Worth the price! Thank you! " A.P., Atlanta, GA
