Wearing your seat belt is the law in almost every state. The safety harness helps keep you safe in the event of a crash. But if your seat belt doesn't fit around you, how can you close it? With the Automobile Seat Belt Extender, of course!

After a one time easy installation, the Automobile Seat Belt Extender adds 11.5" to the length of your seat belt. The Extender connects between the base of the seatbelt where it bolts to the floor and the current seat belt itself. (See the 'Installation' tab for more details.) Your seat belt still works the same way, the part that extends from the base is simply longer.

The extended seat belt can be used by anyone, large or small and works on the driver's or passenger's side. Fits most cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Lease your car or truck? Buying something new? Because you can uninstall it as easily as you installed it, you can take your Seat Belt Extender with you when you trade in your vehicle.

Seat Belt Extenders are available in 3 colors:

Installs in minutes! All you need is two socket wrenches, one ⁵/8" socket wrench and another to fit the bolt currently inside your vehicle.

1. At the base of your seat belt, you'll see a bolt that attaches the seat belt to your car's interior. Remove this bolt using the appropriately sized socket.

2. Bolt the flat end of the extender to the end of the existing seatbelt, using the provided bolt, washer and locknut and a ⁵/8" socket wrench. Do not use any other hardware.

3. Cover the exposed bolt with the provided end cap.

4. Take the second flat washer and place on the original bolt if it will fit. (It is ok to discard the washer if it doesn't fit.)

5. Using the original hardware and washer, bolt the bent end of the extender to the location where the belt was originally installed.
