Keep the legs folded, and the Bed Desk™ will sit evenly on a flat surface. Unfolding the legs will raise the height of the desk top and create a space underneath. This way the Bed Desk™ can be placed over your lap while you're sitting in the bed or an arm chair, or it can create additional workspace on your table while you're crafting or cooking.
| The angle of the table top can be adjusted from 0º to 90º in unlimited increments. Leave the lid flat or adjust it to an angle that relieves neck and back strain while you read. The ledge at front holds books open, and keeps them from sliding off the desk. This is a great advantage for readers with limited mobility in their hands and arms.
