Regular Caller ID boxes have a digital display, which doesn't help if you are blind, have low vision or aren't standing near the unit. If you're waiting for an important call, rushing to see who is on the phone can result in an accident. With a ClassCo Talking Caller ID box, you'll be able to hear who is calling you.
When a call comes in, the caller's phone number or name will be announced between the first and second ring. This information also appears on the screen. The unit announces each digit in the telephone number including area code (in English or Spanish) or a name that has been pre-programmed to correspond with that number. If the caller has blocked their phone number, or if the number is unknown, that will be announced instead.
If you want to know who called while you were out, you can review your last 99 calls. During review, the date and time of each call is announced, in addition to the number or recorded name

Records names for up to 50 telephone numbers
Call Waiting Caller ID announces the name or number of a caller trying to reach you while you're on the phone. (You must be talking on the phone connected to the Talking Caller ID unit for this feature to be active.)
