A cordless phone that amplifies, has two
speaker phones, big buttons and an intercom?

Ameriphone's 2.4 GHz Dual Speaker Cordless Phone amplifies incoming calls up to 40 dB. For even clearer conversations, the adjustable tone control can offset the level of frequencies your ear is missing.

You can dial from the base or with the handset. The high-contrast, backlit buttons on the base and handset are extra large, making them easy to see.

The speakerphone on the base is the loudest we've heard. Press the speaker button to accept an incoming call or start an outgoing call, adjust the volume and enjoy completely hands free conversations. (The handset also has speakerphone capabilities, although the volume is not as loud as the base speakerphone.)

This Dual Speaker Cordless Phone can also be used as a wireless intercom between rooms! Simply press the intercom button on the base and you can talk to a family member on the handset in another room. You can also use the phone for a conference call from two different rooms in the house.

This phone has many wonderful features and fabulous amplification. A must have anywhere a speaker phone would be helpful!

For people with mobility issues, there are optional accessories available that make the CLS-45i hands free:

  • Adding a Pillow Switch or an Air Switch to the handset will allow you to engage in a conversation through the handset's speaker phone.

  • Add a Voice Dialer along with one of the switches and you won't need to press a button to dial.

  • Because these options work with the cordless handset, the phone can travel with you around your home in a walker basket or wheelchair carry-all.

The Air Switch is an 18 inch tube that can be placed where you need it.

Air Switch:

Turn handset speaker on or off by simply blowing on the air sensor! This no-touch 18" long switch plugs into handset and provides the ultimate in accessibility!

DL1011

The Pillow Switch is a very sensitive button that is soft and covered with fabric.

Pillow Switch:

Control the on/off function of the handset speaker by gently touching this switch with your chin, arm, leg or other body movement. It plugs into the side of the handset. The switch is 3" diameter and the cord is approximately 6 feet long.

DL1014

If you need a hands free way to dial look at the Speakerphone Voice Dialing System (DL1070) which combines this phone with a Voice Activated Phone Dialer.

Special Notes

  • If you have a wireless computer network where this phone is in use, there may be some interference since most wireless routers use the 2.4 GHz frequency. If that is the case, you may be able to adjust the router frequency or channel to overcome the problem.

  • If you have DSL (access to the internet) on your phone line, the speakerphone function (only) will be affected and may cut out during the conversation. A double filter on the outlet used may be helpful.

  • The Caller ID/Call Waiting function on this phone only works when you have the feature available from your local phone company.

  • If you need a hands free way to dial look at the Speakerphone Voice Dialing System (DL1070) which combines this phone with a Voice Activated Phone Dialer.
