Standard lumbar pillows and seat cushions offer support and comfort, but in a worn out car seat or a super soft chair, they aren't enough to help you sit in the proper position. The steel frame of the Sacro Ease^® holds you comfortably in the proper position, even in extra soft chairs or car seats.

Don't let the steel frame scare you - this seat is very comfortable! Under the durable woven fabric, rubber supports conform to your body and support your hips and spine. The frame is curved to cradle your back and provide excellent lumbar support. An adjustable lumbar cushion is also included for additional support, but it can be removed if desired. The backrest is not padded, but the elastic lining supports and balances your lumbar region.

Each size is available with or without the coccyx cutout. The cutout measures 9" L x 2¾" W and helps increase comfort for individuals with Coccydynia or hemorrhoid pain. All styles have a non-skid bottom that helps keep the seat in place.

In order to determine which size seat is right for you, ask yourself the following questions:

• What kind of seat will it be used in? (e.g. bucket, bench, bus, couch, chair.) Use the chart above to guide you to the correct width.

• What width do I need?

  • For bucket seats, measure the width of the area between the raised sides of the seat. (If you use a Sacro Ease^® with a frame that is wider than the flat part of your bucket seat, you could damage the car seat.)

  • If you have a stocky or pear-shaped body type and a car with a small bucket seat, unfortunately the Sacro Ease^® may not be right for you. The 12" frame recommended for small seats would press into your body but a wider frame would damage your seat.

• Are you pregnant? Suffering from Coccydynia or hemorrhoid discomfort? If so, you may prefer the seat with the coccyx cutout.
