| Using the Electric Ice Cream Scoop isn't very different from using a regular scoop. Plug it in, heat it up and start scooping! The hardest part about using this scoop is that you should not lick off the remaining ice cream when you're done. It is an electric appliance, after all! The Electric Ice Cream Scoop is designed for household use, not commercial. The scoop itself has a non-stick coating for easy cleaning. After it cools, wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge. (Do not immerse it in water.) |  |
The scoop is surrounded by a drip guard, which helps to keep hands and fingers away from the sticky drippings. We recommend that you keep a plate nearby to stand the scoop on when you are done. The heat causes the ice cream left on the scoop to melt, and it can build up and drip off the sides of the guard. (And yes, we loved testing this product!)
