ELK Emergency Patient Lifting Cushions are the perfect combination of assistance and portability. They operate with low air pressure to inflate safely and fully from bottom to top in about 3 minutes.

The ELK Patient Lifter is comprised of two parts - an inflatable cushion and an air pump.

The Inflatable Cushion:

  • Has a washable surface that can be disinfected if needed

  • Great for bariatric patients because it lifts up to 1000 pounds.

  • Weighs 8 lbs

  • Rolls up and has a handle for easy carrying

  • Deflated Roll Dimensions: 24.5" L x 10" W x 4.5" H

  • Is compact making it particularly convenient to use in narrow hallways. Inflated, it's measurements are: 20" L x 22.5" W x 22" H

  • This portable equipment can be used indoors or outdoors.

The Air Pump:

How it Works

The lift system is easy to use:

Put the deflated ELK cushion next to the fallen personPut the deflated ELK cushion next to the fallen person and roll them onto their back, on top of the cushion.
Help the person to a seat potision on top of the ELKThen help them to a seated position on top of the ELK.
Slowly inflate the ELKInflate the lift while they sit on it. The cushion inflates gradually and safely without any effort on the caregiver's part.
When fully inflated the Elk is at normal chair heightThe lift cushion finishes inflating in about 3 minutes.
