Is it hard to pick up an item you dropped on the floor?
A reacher can help you pick things up from the floor with less bending. It can also help you reach higher, which is particularly beneficial to people with shoulder issues.
The 32" EZ Reacher® is perfect for picking up objects as small as a dime and as large as a one quart bottle (up to 5 pounds). The pistol grip allows for a full four finger trigger making it easier to grasp. The circular rubber tips shift their position on the object to help you pick up small items.

The locking feature differentiates this reacher from those you find in the supermarket. The secure lock helps you handle slightly heavier objects. Once you have the item in the reacher's grasp, you can lock the reacher's grip and move your hand to the center of the reacher. Changing your hand position shifts the center of gravity and makes the weight of the object more manageable.
No more iffy step stools to get a can from the top shelf. No more stooping to pick up a dropped pencil! Great for retrieving golf balls, picking fruit, sorting cans and bottles for recycling and picking up trash from the curb.
Folding Locking Reacher (DL12010):
If you need a reacher to save you some bending or stretching but you have limited storage for the reacher, this 32 inch folding and locking reacher is just what you seek!
The folding reacher is designed for easy storage and travel. It folds to half its size and expands again easily. Fits right into your suitcase or drawer.
| Special Notes | The reacher may ship with a blue or a black handle. |

"This year I bought my mother a 32" Reacher (DL12011). She is 80 and the reacher has been very helpful to pick up things from the floor and to get things down from kitchen shelves. However, recently she found a novel use for it. She used it to rescue a bird!
My husband and I had gone away for the weekend, leaving our standard poodle, Annie, with Grandma. My Mom noticed that Annie was in her yard attempting to get something that had fallen into the window well of her basement. It was a small bird that was trapped in the window well! My mom went to the kitchen and retrieved her Reacher. She picked up the bird gently, lifted it out, and released it. Both Annie and my Mom watched the bird fly away, unharmed, safe and happy again!"
