Developed by an occupational therapist, the Helpful Hand™ isn't an ordinary wrist brace. It actually supports your weak spots and allows you to use many different tools for work, hobbies or daily activities! The neoprene material offers compression and warmth, which are often recommended by therapists for the treatment of different conditions.
The Helpful Hand™ Brace includes a nylon strap to hold all kinds of objects. Slip it onto your fingers, secure the strap with the high quality hook and loop tape and get back to the task at hand!
The unique design also helps increase your ability to pinch your thumb and first two fingers together (also known as the 'tripod pinch'). The Helpful Hand™ Brace encourages the proper positioning for retraining your hand and supports the proper movements. You can have help to hold a spoon, a reacher, or even a tennis racquet!
There are different ways to position the Helpful Hand™ Brace. For writing, for example, the finger piece may need to be a little further towards the finger tips. It may take a little practice to learn how to utilize this helpful wrist wrap in a way that not only works for you, but works for the task at hand. Securing a pen, for example, is easy. But you may need to practice controlling the pen to write properly.
