Just step on the Ice Breaker Stair Mat
and sweep the broken ice away!

Normally, getting the ice off of your stairs is a real pain. You have to hit the ice really hard with a shovel or pick to break it into pieces that you can scrape away.

Sure, salt melts the ice after a while, but it can kill your plants and grass. Sand makes it less slippery, but gets tracked inside where it can ruin your floors.

Make your front steps safer and easier to clean during the winter.

Ice Breaker Mats make clearing the stairs quick and painless. Even thick chunks of ice are easily loosened and swept away. You'll want a mat for all your outside stairs! You can even place multiple mats side by side on ramps or walkways to make it easy to remove ice on these areas too.

Attach the Ice Breaker Mats using tacks or silicone sealer (not included) to your outside steps when they are clean and dry. When you're ready to go out, simply step carefully onto the ice or tap it with your cane or a broom handle so that it releases from the mat. Once the ice is loose, you can sweep it away easily. Ice will not stick to the mat! These black vinyl mats will make it easier to differentiate the steps from the snow.

When winter's over you can remove the mats or you can keep them on your stairs year-round to provide better traction.
