General Info

This Appliance lock's catch is angled so it will slide easily back into place to lock the door.Protect loved ones with the Appliance Lock.

Refrigerators and ovens can be hazardous for children and people with dementia. Whether you want to keep them from being burned, consuming something dangerous, or just from making a mess, by installing this easy to use Appliance Lock will give you some peace of mind.

The Appliance Lock by KidCo® installs in just minutes, no tools required. Attach the lock on either the side or top of the appliance, preferably where children cannot reach it or where people with dementia won't notice it. Use the double-sided adhesive to keep the lock in place and let the adhesive set for 24 hours.

The lock can be released by simply pulling the latch arm away from the catch. Easy for an adult, but harder for a child or person with cognitive issues.

DL Note: Be sure the side of you appliance door is wide enough to accommodate the catch and that the side or top of the appliance has enough clearance to position the latch arm. See the "Specifications" tab for more details.
