General Info

Easy to reach stove top knobs can be a severe safety hazard.

The KidCo® Stove Knob Stop locks your cooktop and oven dials to keep unwanted hands from igniting burners or turning on the oven. Small children will not be able to disengage this lock and will not have the hand strength to force the knob to move. The Stop also acts as a deterrent for people with dementia.

Push the button to slide the lock away from the knob to turn on your stove or oven.Use the adhesive backing to quickly and easily install the Knob Stop on your stove and oven. To install, press the release button at the top of the lock and slide the pointer to its maximum length. Remove the adhesive from the back of the Stop and push the pointer underneath the stove knob as far as it will go. Once the Knob Stop is installed it will prevent the dials from being pushed in and turned on.

When the pointer is in the out position, the knob is locked. To unlock, press down on the button and slide the pointer backwards.
