KidCo® Window Stop

Prevent falls through open windows with this simple window stop!

We've all heard the horror stories of toddlers or even unwary adults falling out windows in tall apartment buildings. These falls can be deadly, but they can also be prevented. Window safety means that the window's opening should be limited, but also quick and easy to open completely in an emergency. The KidCo^® Window Stop fulfills both of these requirements.

The Window Stop can be installed on single or double hung windows to control the opening height. Installed on a sliding window, the Window Stop can control the opening width. It is recommended that the opening height or width be less than 4 inches so that even a small toddler can't squeeze out the opening.

The Window Stop installs easily into the window frame or molding with two included screws. To open the lock and allow free access to the window, the locking arm must be pulled back and the window opened. The arm will spring back to the closed position when released. You don't have to reset the lock after you close the window. It does it for you!
