All CorkPops™ Wine Openers utilize a low pressure, environmentally friendly, EPA-approved propellant to ensure a safe and exciting "POP" time after time. No more twisting a corkscrew or getting stray pieces of cork into the bottle. It's simply the fastest, easiest way to open a bottle of wine! (One cartridge can open 60 to 80 bottles of wine. Refills are available in packages of 2.)
The Legacy Corkpops™ features a sleek ergonomic design with a rubberized finish that is easy to hold. It also includes an enhanced foil removal system and patented cork ejector making it easier for anyone with limited dexterity or arthritis to open their favorite bottle of wine.

DL Note: When a cork is really dry (or it is made of plastic rather than cork material), inserting the needle will require some pressure and removal from the needle can be more difficult. This would be true of any cork screw. Be careful not to hold down the cartridge too long. Several short taps will provide the pressure needed without causing the cork to pop violently.
