The Seat Assist is a self-powered lifting cushion that provides that extra lift needed to help you get in and out of any armchair on your own. There are no switches, electric wires or special installation. The comfortable navy cushion adds two inches to the height of the chair when you are seated.

Simply shift your weight forward and push off gently with your arms and legs. Once you start standing up, the pneumatic lift handles up to 80% of your weight and will gently raise you up to 10" high, to an almost standing position! (For people with balance issues, we recommend practicing on a hard chair at the dining room table.)

The Seat Assist cushion is portable too! It weighs only 9 pounds and flattens quickly for easy transport. (Recommended for use on firm arm chairs or firm sofas. Lifting cushions are not meant to be used in chairs with wheels, like a wheelchair or an office chair with non-lockable wheels).

There are two styles of lifting cushions and two weight capacities for each style. The difference between the styles is mostly in the cushioning material and the cushion cover.

• The UPEasy style has a standard foam cushion and a washable marine blue cover.

• The UpLift Seat Assist has a cushion that provides a fluid-like fit. With this memory-style cushion, pressure is evenly distributed, eliminating pressure points. Great for people who sit for longer periods of time. Includes a black washable, waterproof cover.
