It can be difficult to keep children out of drawers and cabinets that are easily within their reach. Keeping dangerous items away from adults with dementia or other cognitive impairments can be even harder. Most adults can easily open standard "child locks". That's why these Magnet Locks are the perfect way to prevent access to anything from cupboards to closets.

The lock itself is mounted completely inside a storage unit, and cannot be seen when the door is closed. No access from the outside means it can't be damaged as a way to remove it. To open the lock, simply place the magnetic key near the edge where the latch is mounted. This will disengage the latch so the door can swing freely.

This lock can be installed on most storage spaces in your house that you wish to keep closed: medicine drawers, kitchen cabinets, tool cupboards, and so on. Thanks to the adhesive mount, this lock can even be used in rented homes. (Screws are included with the kit in the event that you prefer a more permanent fixture or the adhesive does not hold on the material on which it was installed.)

The Starter Set includes 2 cabinet/drawer locks and one key set (key and mounted key holder). Additional key sets and locks are also available.

DL Note: Allow 24 hours for installation tape to fully affix before using lock. It is recommended that you trace the locks with a pencil after installing in case reinstallation must be done.
