Finally, a rocker knife worthy of great chefs!
Ulu knives have a unique design which increases dexterity and leverage, making fine cuts simple and chopping easier. The Ulu knife (pronounced oo-loo) comes from Alaska, and has been used by Native people of the Arctic for centuries. The blade is made of stainless steel and has a large, easy to grip wooden handle.
The Ulu rocker knife performs most culinary chores with ease and efficiency - from chopping nuts to slicing cheese and meats. One aspect of this knife that sets it apart from other rocker knives is that it can easily be sharpened, giving it much longer usability.
Made from Walnut and Alaskan Birch, the attractive bowl fits the curved blade of the Ulu for a perfect cutting combination. Because of the curve of the bowl, items being chopped cannot get away from the blade of the Ulu. Great for nuts, carrots and diced onion! Turn the bowl over and use the back for a flat cutting surface. It is a great addition to any kitchen and makes a wonderful gift!

"An ulu is easy to use and easy to clean. I have stopped using a food processor except for large quantities. For one or two people an ulu chops foods fast- onions garlic parsley celery less clean up than a food processor. I use it every day." A.K., Scottsdale, AZ
"I was so pleased that you are offering the Ulu Knife to your customers!! It is a god send for people who are one-handed!! Thank you." D.M., L'Anse, MI
"D.M. is right; the ULU knife is a godsend. It is much easier to manipulate than straight rocker knives. Using the knife with its accompanying bowl, slicing and rough chopping is about as easy as it was when I had an extra hand to guide the food." R. E., Richmond, CA
