(Open Box) Wander Alarm

You can't be watching all the time. It only takes a moment for someone to be out the door or into the medicine cabinet. This activity is very dangerous for a child or a person with cognitive disabilities, and very stressful for you! Low cost protection is available with the Wander Alarm.

The Wander Alarm alerts you when the door is opened. You can also use it on the refrigerator door, medicine cabinet or a pool gate. Place it wherever you feel there is danger lurking on the other side of the door!

The Wander Alarm receiver can be set on a table surface or hung on the wall. Or you can clip it to your pocket or waistband so you are able to keep up with your daily chores as well as keep your loved ones safe. The receiver will get a signal up to 100 feet away.

You can have up to three Wander Alarms in the same house, with all signals going to each of the receivers. (The unit is only sold as a whole, components are not sold separately.) You can set the alert to chime, vibrate or off.

The Wander Alarm has three components:

1. The transmitter switch is attached to the door. 2. A magnetic piece is attached parallel to the switch on the door frame. Both parts can be mounted with double sided foam tape or screws.

3. When the two are separated, a radio signal is sent to the receiver to alert the caregiver. There is an on-off switch, but the signal will also stop when the door is closed again.
