People who use wheelchairs need to tuck under the sink in order to access the faucets. Close encounters with the pipes under a sink can result in bruises or burns. This material is shaped to fit the piping, but is much more flexible than standard PVC, and offers insulation and 'give' that the actual pipes don't.

The set includes a service cap to go over the supply lines. This cap comes off easily with a screwdriver to allow easy access to the supply faucet.
