Hinged P.T. Rails

The ADA compliant P.T. Rail from Healthcraft provides sturdy support to help maintain your privacy and independence.

The wall mounted P.T. Rail is a dual support bar system that has a unique feature. Instead of being parallel vertically, the double bars are offset to each other helping to prevent wrist injury to fragile bones. This way the offset rail is comfortable to grasp and will not cause injury.

You can place a P.T. Rail on the left side or the right side of the toilet. You can also get two and place one on either side. For optimum usability and safety, the top horizontal rail should always be on the outside / further away from the toilet. (You may also want to consult an occupational therapist for help determining where the P.T. Rail should be placed.)

When not in use the P.T. Rail can be folded up out of the way. Great for small bathrooms where space is limited. The P.T. Rail is designed with a special hinge, so even when it is half way up, it will maintain its position and not come crashing down.
