With the Wireless Self Emptying Rain Gauge,
you'll know at a glance how much rain has fallen!

With this Rain Gauge, you can get an accurate reading of the rainfall as you stay dry inside. The indoor digital display receives a wireless signal from up to 330' (depending on construction) and records precipitation within the past 24 hours as well as total seasonal rainfall. In addition, there is no need to go outside to empty it, rain flows through the gauge as it is measured.

An icon on the display alerts you to light or heavy rainfall. If your basement tends to flood or you have other drainage problems, an optional alarm will sound when a preset amount of rain has fallen. You can also choose to hear an alarm after a set amount of rainfall (from 0.05" to 4") over a 24 hour period. Rainfall is displayed in inches up to 199.99".

The indoor display can be wall mounted or sit on a countertop. The outdoor component of the Rain Gauge needs to be mounted in a secure and flat location where it can collect rain without obstruction. It's recommended that you place it at least 3' off the ground and screw it down to keep it securely in place. Both pieces require by 2 "AA" alkaline batteries which should last up to 24 months.
