• Press and hold down the button on the pendant for 4 seconds. This initiates the emergency autodialing sequence on the phone.

• Even if the Clearvoice 2000 is off the hook or engaged in another call, the emergency phone will take command of the telephone line to make the calls, ensuring that you are safe, no matter what the situation. (This applies only to the Clearvoice 2000 itself, not other phones in the home.)

The Telemergency™ 2000 Emergency Telephone cycles once through up to 30 pre-programmed emergency telephone numbers to reach an emergency contact. A pre-recorded personalized message alerts the person who answers the call that an emergency exists. Once the call is answered, the telephone functions like a speakerphone allowing loud and clear two-way communication (up to 20 feet). No monthly monitoring fees.

The emergency remote control also doubles as a wireless remote that will let you answer and hang up the phone without picking up the handset, allowing you to talk through the speakerphone.

Two emergency "hotkeys" can be programmed (the buttons on the phone with the police badge symbol and fire symbol). They each hold only one emergency number. They can either be programmed with the local fire or police numbers, or any other emergency phone number you desire.

Handset off-hook detector:

• If the handset is left off hook for 30 minutes or more, the telephone emits a loud beep to remind the user to return the handset to the telephone cradle.

• If you press the pendant, your emergency call over-rides an off hook telephone.
