General Info

Are you concerned that you might need emergency help from time to time but don't want to subscribe to a staffed monitoring service?

The Telemergency™ emergency dialer unit connects to any residential phone line. Just press a button and the Telemergency™ will notify your pre-programmed contacts that there is an emergency. There are no monthly monitoring fees!

In the event of an emergency, touch the button on the base unit or the button on the remote control pendant. The Telemergency™ Pro (700C) will autodial up to 5 pre-programmed emergency contacts. A pre-recorded personalized message alerts the person who answers that an emergency exists.

Answering machines and voice mail are not a problem. The Telemergency™ auto-dialer cycles through the pre-programmed telephone numbers for up to 15 minutes or until a contact responds by pressing the appropriate button on their telephone pad.

Once the call is answered, the called party can activate the Telemergency™ unit's speakerphone by pushing specific buttons on their phone. (Friends and family will be able to control the unit from wherever they are.) This will allow loud and clear two-way communication and let the called party listen to or monitor the situation.

Power fails? Not to worry, the Telemergency™ has a battery back-up (one 9V battery, not included). Desk or wall mounting.

In addition to the features described in the General Info tab, the Telemergency™ model 750C (DL1047) has the following upgrades:

  • Store up to 6 telephone numbers for each type of emergency. (The 700C model only holds 5 numbers.)

  • The pendant can be used to activate the speakerphone for any incoming phone call.

  • Talkback - The unit will vocally repeat each number as you program it during programming mode.

  • Caller ID - If you have the caller ID service activated on your phone line, the dialer will announce all incoming caller's telephone numbers.

  • Social Alarm - The unit can be set to emit an alarm at a chosen time once a day. If the alarm is not turned off within 30 minutes, the unit will automatically begin calling the emergency contacts.

Special Notes

  • Although it works on a telephone line, this product is not a telephone and cannot be used for normal telephone calls.

  • If you have a limited number of phone jacks in your home the Telemergency units can be connected like an answering machine, between a phone and the wall jack.

  • You cannot use multiple Emergency Dialers in the same household.

Signal DistanceThe pendant may function from as far away as 80 feet, however the specific range will depend on many factors. Please test it out in the areas that you will need coverage.

Compatibility (other devices)

  • This unit will not work through a switchboard or phone systems that require a delay. (For example, when you need to dial "9" for an outside line.)

  • If one of the stored numbers is for a cell phone, the contact will be able to receive the call but they will not be able to acknowledge it with their cell phone.
