Aluminum Threshold Ramps are an easy-to-install solution when you have trouble negotiating the threshold at the door.

These threshold ramps are designed for doorways, sliding glass doors and raised landings. They are lightweight yet durable and will not rust. The surface is grooved to prevent skidding. The weight capacity is 600 lbs, adequate for most scooters (and their passengers). The ramp width is 34", equal to the average door width.
Threshold ramps make an entry or exit convenient and safe. Depending upon the surface that the ramps will be used on, you may need to secure them to the surface with non-skid carpet backing or a more permanent solution like screws.
Measure the height of your threshold and choose the correct size in the chart below. (Please keep in mind when ordering that a longer ramp will provide a more gradual incline. The ADA recommends a 5º slope for ramps.)
