Most hand exercisers help you build strength by having you squeeze your full fist around an object. Others have you make a squeezing motion between your thumb and fingers. The VIA™ is different in that it lets you to work on each finger independently to build overall hand strength. Your ability to grasp and control an object in your hand is powered by your forearm, but guided by the muscles in the hand itself.
| The VIA™ is designed to mimic the valves on a brass instrument. There are four buttons that can be pressed all at once, one at a time or in combinations of two or three. The focus on individual fingers allows you to build strength and coordination in the weakest fingers while you let stronger ones rest. This means that stronger fingers can't compensate for the weaker ones and reduce the effectiveness of the exercise. In addition, the stronger part of your hand won't get more of a workout than it really needs. |  |
The VIA™ is an entry level grip, recommended for people over 12 years of age who want to build or regain dexterity. Each valve offers 4 lbs of resistance. It's ideal for improving overall hand coordination and strength. Great for improving your grip for golf and tennis, and your hand strength for yoga, bowling and more!
