Voice Activated Telephone

The Ameriphone remote controlled speakerphone is easier to use than regular phones. You can answer the phone with only the sound of your voice, for the ultimate in hands free operation!

There is no handset for this phone as the full operation is through the high quality speakerphone. For placing calls, use the highly sensitive wireless remote control to dial the telephone numbers you have stored in memory.

Very limited mobility?

Receiving a call:

• The voice activation is used in response to incoming calls. When the telephone rings, just say "hello" and the phone is answered.
• The conversation then takes place over a speakerphone.

Making a call:

• Auto-scan up to 20 pre-programmed phone numbers.
• or dial on the keypad.

More on Auto-Scanning:
The auto-scanning feature allows people with limited mobility to make outgoing calls, by using one of the following switches:

• Remote Switch (Included)

• Pillow Switch (Optional - See the Accessories tab)

• Air Switch (Optional - See the Accessories tab)

As the memorized numbers are scanned:

• A light flashes by each position to indicate which number can be activated.

• For non-visual cues, the telephone also "clicks" as it passes over each available pre-programmed number allowing the user to count the "clicks" to make their call to the appropriate person.

• To dial the chosen number, the user would press the remote once or blow into the air switch or press the pillow switch.

The first telephone number can be pre-programmed for operator assisted calling.

Ending a call:

• Press the "off" button on the keypad

• or use the Remote, Air or Pillow Switch

• On some telephone lines, the Voice Activated Telephone will disconnect itself when it hears the dial tone.
