Looking for some exercise that is actually fun?
The Zone Wireless Video Sport Game System provides exercise while you play! It is played with a console that is plugged into your TV and two wireless controllers that cause your animated self (essentially a cartoon that reflects your movements) to swing, punch and kick in competitive games, like tennis, ping pong and boxing. Or hone your skills in games like baseball, golf, bowling or soccer!
Once you've selected a game to play, the game play is motion activated. The action on the screen is in response to swinging and 'flicking' of the controller in your hand. Some of the games allow you to select a speed or level of difficulty, others do not. Whatever level you pick, you are sure to get a workout! The games are fast and not necessarily easy! Your shoulders, arms and wrists all get a good workout. Some games also encourage lower body movement as well, but it is not required. You can also play by simply pressing buttons on the controller. | ![]() |
We tested our skills and found ourselves sweating, laughing and learning. You can play alone or with friends. The cartoon characters have an anime feel to them (anime is a Japanese cartoon style) and the game's sound effects include grunts of effort and applause from fans "in the bleachers".
This game should NOT be confused with the Nintendo® Wii™. The Zone Wireless Video Sport Game System comes with 7 games in the main controller: Boxing, Tennis, Table Tennis, Bowling, Golf, Soccer and Baseball. You cannot add more games or accessories later.
It's so easy to set it up, you can take it to a friend's house to play. Good for your health and fun! A great combination!

To turn on the unit, press the "Power" button on the console.
To change games or restart the one you are currently playing, press "Reset" on the console.
The instructions are not as clear as we would like, but not hard to figure out either. Spend a little time reviewing each game before you play for the first time.
There are some visual cues that can help you improve your play. Like when to swing when bowling or golfing.
The tennis serve had us baffled for a moment, but then we realized that it mimics the real thing with the bouncing ball, so you need to "flick" the controller twice: once to "throw the ball up" and once to actually hit the ball.
Player skills will vary from person to person, depending on how you approach the game. Don't be afraid to really "swing" the golf club or baseball bat. (However placing the strap around your wrist will help prevent the controller from flying away from a weak grasp.) A 5 year old has as much chance at success as a 20 something. And an 80 year old can beat the pants off a 40 year old.
